Like with everything, there is a right and wrong way in ‘doing the FT8’. The wrong way is shown above: a slowly cooked under-rated radio at full power in key-down mode.
The right way: to use your baby radio as a driver to an over-rated amplifier, with the output power set to the legal limit (120W in Australia).
