There are a number of ways to accomplish integration. The example below is the simplest, requiring no extra hardware.
There are three signal paths:
1. RF
Straight forward: rig->amp->antenna tuner
Coax, UHF connectors
2. Keying path
rig->tuner->amplifier
The idea here is to key your last unit first.
IMPORTANT: set TX delay on IC-7300 to 20-40mS to prevent hot switching
3.5mm RCA
3. Band data path
CI-V rig->amplifier
LAN amplifier->router, tuner->router
1/8 jack stereo, use tip and shield
Basically this setup should work with any ICOM transceiver with CI-V output.
4O3A gear comes with Ethernet cables. Coax, keying line and data cables are to be provided by user.
