Description

The Handie Talkie Headset (HTH) is a lightweight headset designed for use with popular handheld transceivers. It is available in a single-sided or dual-sided version. The HTH provides hands-free and discreet two-way communication while maintaining the comfort necessary for extended use in moderate noise environments. The single-sided model features an adaptable earpiece for left or right ear setup and both models have an in-line Push-to-Talk (PTT) switch.

The HTH is available in three different output connections:
– HTH-I: Works with 2-pin iCOM *
– HTH-Y: Works with TRRS Yaesu/Vertex **
– HTH-K: Works with 2-pin Kenwood, Baofeng, and Wouxon

* The HTH-I also works with the ICOM 705 with the inline push-to-talk, but not the VOX. Check out this video to see how.

** For weather-resistant Yaesu/Vertex models such as the VX6R and VX7R, please use the HTH-Y adapter and an HTH-ADY adapter.
